FLAGS / WALKING IN POOL
The performance was first shown in New York in an
empty swimming pool in East Village's CUANDO Center.
It featured two actors simultaneously reading texts by Vonnegut Jr in
English and Gombrowicz in Polish.
It consisted of the performer walking and gradually painting two round
"Flags" on opposite walls of the pool. Its main theme was
dual realities. Its modified version was performed many years later
in Warsaw.
